The president of Koei has stated clearly that there will be no place for Tomonobu Itagaki in the company following its merger with Tecmo.

Ex-Tecmo man Itagaki left the company earlier this year and filed a lawsuit against the publisher claiming it owed him bonus pay for his work on Dead or Alive 4.

However, the recent announcement of the merger between Tecmo and Koei sparked rumours that the wild Itagaki, creator of the Ninja Gaden series, may be returning to the company.$Uj"]']\
